Our waitlists are organized on a first-come, first-served basis. Families select their puppy in the order they joined the waitlist and deposits were received.
We begin with a master waitlist. Once a litter is on the ground and all puppies are thriving, we will contact those on the master waitlist to begin forming the reservation list. At that time, you’ll have the opportunity to place your deposit to secure your position. This process allows us to ensure the litter is doing well before opening the reservation process, while giving families on our master waitlist the first opportunity to secure their place.
Puppy contracts will be sent at this time and will need to be signed and returned by puppy pick day (6 weeks old) to remain on the reservation list.
Failure to sign and return the puppy contract by puppy pick day will result in the loss of your position on the reservation list. Your deposit will be forfeited, and your reserved position will be made available to the next family on the list.
If you do not make it onto the current reservation list, you’ll automatically remain on the master waitlist for the next available litter.
If you are on the reservation list but the puppy you were hoping for isn’t available in the current litter and you choose to wait, your name will move to the top of the next available reservation list.
Puppy picks take place at 6 weeks of age. We wait until this stage because their personalities are beginning to develop and their coat colors are becoming more defined. This allows us to better guide you toward the best possible match for your family.
Puppy selections are made through updated photos and videos, and we will do our absolute best to help you choose the perfect pup. We unfortunately do not allow visitors until puppy pick-up day. This policy is in place to protect both our puppies and ourselves, as the risk of outside illness is simply too high for us to feel comfortable with in-person visits prior to pickup.
We typically plan for 6 puppy spots per litter; 3 male spots and 3 female spots. Once we receive an official puppy count via X-ray (around day 55 of pregnancy), we will adjust the list as needed by adding additional spots or transferring deposits.
